What does everyone think of this product?

I'm not familiar with Scythe, but after reading the MSDS I note:

"Advice to physicians: Contains petroleum distillates."

For me personally, this is a red flag; *almost* every petroleum distillate is a personal migraine trigger. So I probably won't be trying this product out.

Maybe others have tested it...

Good luck!

The first red flag for me also was the petrolium distillates..

Also, after reading their storage and disposal... yuck..

lol just read "user should wash hands before... " which includes eating, using tobacco and the toilet..

from the descriptions ive read it sounds like yucky stuff....
personally, sounds, like a bleach type solution..

(so the "dirty" hippie in me needs to ask  )
have you thaught about trying vinegar?
(I use a vinegar, cloves, lemon and sometimes garlic concoction even in my kitchen and bathroom to kill germs instead of bleach)

I think for me the test plots at this link from above say it all-
https://www.extension.umn.edu/yardandgarden/YGLNews/YGLN-Mar0106.html
Scroll down.

Some of these organic products may work well enough for annual weeds, your vinegar included, but those are often just as easily removed mechanically (hand pulling). Solarization is still winning in my book. Phalaris arundinacea (Reed Canary/Ribbon Grass) is awfully difficult to eradicate and so far the best way to get it is to solarize it.

Actually about halfway through posting my comment above I started to say that my hands were my favorite weed killer.. then I thaught of vinegar..

When we get our garden going I plan on using wet newspaper, and straw for mulch and weed control..

(wanders into dreamy state) :: sigh:: to have one's own compost pile..
