Please help my ponytail plant (elephant foot)

It is summer in here and the weather condition in our city is hot and the apartment condition for my plant is as follow :
1. Indoor with medium humidity
2. Once or twice a week watering.
3. 30 to 45 degrees centigrade
4. Not straight sun light ( back of window )
The problem is that at first it shape was all round but from past 10 days it's newly grown leaves started uncurving ( falling downward as you see in attached image).
Please help me .... What is the problem ?

Look at the center of newly grown leaves that are falling downward.

Looks like it needs more light.

You could also try keeping it in a porous, clay pot.

Definitely could use more light.

Thanks everyone. I will close it to the window and see what happens.
