Are these weeds? If so, what are they called?
I'm totally new to gardening and have just moved into a place with a great little yard and I'm trying to look after it. I almost uprooted some lillies because I thought they were weeds and so now I'm a little hesitant to just pull things up. Any help appreciated in IDing these plants and determining if they're weeds: https://flic.kr/p/pfd5Ye, https://flic.kr/p/pfd6F6, https://flic.kr/p/pfd6F6, https://flic.kr/p/pfd8aP.

yeah, at least a couple of the first pictures are nightshade, a toxic weed.
The last one is Italian arum. Not a plant I am real fond of and spreads readily, but people like it because it grows readily in shade. It is planted as a decorative plant for its variegated foliage and red berries:

Also note all parts of this plant are toxic. If you have a toddler that would be tempted to put those pretty berries in her mouth or a cat that likes to chew on leaves, I would get rid of it.
