I am new to the forum. I am trying to get my pointsettia to bloom from last year. I don't know if this is a stupid question or not but are pointsettia's dyed? I was in the nursery at home depot yesterday and saw some with blue and green flowers. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Your question is a good one, especially with the different colors seen today. The colored part of the plant is actually a bract and not the flower. The flower is in the middle of the colored bracts, which are a type of leaf. The new colors like blue are dyed. There is no blue in this species.
