Its wet cold and raw. Today the tender tree babies are taking their long walk from the porch rail, to their indoor lighted bench.
I clipped the olive, its too shaggy. The azalea and rosemary will probably need a haircut too.

I think azaleas make beautiful bonsai and rosemary sounds wonderful too, though I haven't seen it as bonsai enough to have a good mental image.
So that inspired me to go looking for images. A lot of the images I found looked like rosemary bushes in pots - not much styling at all. But I kind of liked this one:

I just brought my tender plants inside Tuesday night and this morning was our first hard frost. I think many growers unnecessarily fear temps below 50F . As long as they do not freeze I have had no ill effects at temps as low as mid-upper thirties. Granted they are not growing much at such temps but they don't put on a lot of growth under my meager fluorescents either.
