Christmas Carol Aloe Flower

Well, it looks like my Christmas Carol aloe has decided to flower. This will be another flower progression thread. I've never had a flower on any of my aloes. Here's some pics:

Could just be a seed pod I guess. Not sure, but I thought aloes flowered. Maybe they're small flowers. Time will tell, and here's some pics from today. It got a little taller:

Love the red on this aloe. I've been trying to give it enough sun. Still waiting for the bloom.

I bet if there was good sun today, those three flowers on the bottom would open. They have started to already, so I'm guessing the next time there's a good sun, I'll have the flower pics for everyone. Oh, and don't forget to click the zoom icon at the bottom of the pic. The flowers started to dry up before blooming. Not enough sun I guess, but if one does bloom, I'll post the pic. LOL, what a bummer.

I saw a picture of a Gaster-Aloe in bloom this morning, and the flowers looked pretty much just like this. I guess they only open that far. It's enough to get the job done, yet seems a bit odd to me. Nature will never cease to surprise me. Here's a pic of the flower IN FULL BLOOM! (sorry about the lighting, but you can still see it). Don't forget to zoom twice on it
