Raspberries - Mold and larva

Finding some raspberries having maggots and mold on the inside cavity of the fruit. Anything I can do promote really healthy pest free fruit or is that impossible? I found that Peppermint and raspberries like each other. The raspberries like a certain ammount of attention. Can anyone shed some light on all the attention they love?

with most pests you will want to pick your fruit AS SOON as it is ripe.
