rose of sharron

I am getting ready to plant 3 rose of sharron branches. They have been in some water for about a month or two and I am now ready to plant them. How far apart do I plant each from one another and where is an ideal location in dealing with the sun? I live in Colorado so our soil is clay? Any and all ideas are welcome!!!

Assuming they have roots, you want full sun and lots of water at first. They are hungry feeders so add lots of organic content to the soil and feed them (organically, like fish emulsion or liquid seaweed) in a few weeks...
