Agreed: it is not wheat. I grew wheat out by the street a couple of years ago. It's much more vertical / narrow / goal-oriented than this stuff. sorry.... You can test for yourself by purchasing maybe a half-ounce at a "whole food / health food" type store. "Whole wheat berries" is what they're often called when sold for cooking. Then plant them like seeds in pots so you'll remember which ones they are.
When they come up, you'll be able to see what wheat looks like.
