New Bonsai Owner

:?: :?: I just got my first new bonsai and was wondering what the best lighting cource is I do believe it is a Fukien Tea. I will have a picture posted soon but if anyone could give me advice it would be helpful

The best lighting source would be indirect sun...

You should read the bonsai articles on the website...

Thanks, I got the tree 2 days ago and have already printed off almost all of the helpful advice.

Would a sun lamp work if it was in the same area but no pointed straight towards it and how could I increase the humidity in the are?

Regular misting, a humidity tray, or a humidifier would all work...

As for the light, I tried it once over a winter (mostly tropicals) to mixed reviews. Sun lamps are NOT grow lights, and a grow light needs to be only a foot or so away for any benefit. NOTHING beats real sunlight, so see what you can do to get it some...
