Canning Jar ?

Iv got some really neat old canning jars. Some of them have a haze or film inside the jar that I cant wash of clean out. Is there a way to get them clear again?

Or maybe CLR or some other calcium remover?

Another thing I've found is that with hard water like we have here in SE Louisiana, I have to put about 1/4 cup of vinegar in my hot water bath when using that method for canning. If I don't do this, there is a definite haze on the outside of the jars once they dry and even though it doesn't harm anything, it just looks nasty.

I think vinegar is the solution.
