new garden pics

I've attached some pics of the raised garden I put in this year. I'm working on the fence right now and I'll post some pics of the finished product.

We put a rain barrel at the top of the slope to hopefully allow gravity to help us water. That's a compost bin on the other end of the garden. That's something else I need to learn how to do.

Nice. Did you make your own rain barrel? How is it working out?

The rain barrel is working out good so far. It filled up in a matter of weeks. We haven't planted yet, but I'm sure it is going to be more than adequate.

I have been thinking of collecting rain myself.
