Help! san marzano over watered? [Pics]

I live in southern California and we recently had some rain. My san marzano is planted in a 9 gallon container and had been doing fine but after the rain it seems to be going down hill. I haven't watered it in 2 weeks but the soil at the bottom is still wet. I've leaned the container on its side to drain it and have cut more holes on the bottom and side to help. The leaves have been curling upward and feel a bit thick. Some also have spots on the leaves. On top of this the first flowers seem to be dieing and falling off.

My question is what should I do and will it survive? If its not worth it I would like to replace the soil and get another

It doesn't look that bad right now and seems like it should survive.

But if your soil is still wet after two weeks, something is really wrong with the soil or the drainage. Hopefully adding the drainage holes etc fixed that. If not it will be continuing problems.

I can't believe that it gets enough sun being right up against the house like that. Tomatoes need six hours a day of direct sun, minimum. If they are getting less, they will produce less and be more vulnerable to what ever pests and problems come along.

The bottom leaf picture with the spots looks like it could possibly be the beginning stages of septoria, a fungal disease that tomatoes are prone to. If most of the leaves are not spotted like that, I would just remove and destroy that leaf.

I agree with Rainbow Gardener--I think it needs more sun. Try that and after a couple of weeks if you don't see improvement start over.
