mystery bonsai

All the tag on the lil' plant said was "bonsai." I figured I could identify it easily enough with a little web searching, but the closest thing I found was a palm bonsai but the leaves are very different.
Whaddya think?

Yes, the leaves are very firm and leathery. And there's a light dusting on the leaves that could be either dust or fuzz/hair?

Your plant is probably a form of Zamioculcas. Nice looking plant. It would be a stretch to call it bonsai to me, but then it's not my plant. :D

Good luck with it.

After contacting the nursery the little tree comes from, I discovered that I've got a Zamia Furfuracea or a "Cardboard Palm Tree."

Thanks for your ideas, helpful gardeners!

I have got one of these too. I just found out what it was yesterday after searching forever!! Then I went and checked on it and it has new flowerings coming out!
