hey all, new here and 1st post...I'm in upstate NY and have been looking at my garden area for the past couple years. (hasn't been used in over 10 years) it's quite big (I think!) 30'wx55'L and it slopes downhill on the 55' side. there is about a 4' elevation drop from the top to the bottom. I guess I'm here to look for general suggestions. I plan on renting a tiller and tilling in all the weeds that are dead from the winter. I have no clue of the soil conditions, besides that due to the slope, the soil stays kinda soggy from water runoff from the hill. I'm looking to plant common veggies such as corn, squash, sweet potatoes, cukes, zuchinni, etc etc
any thoughts on starting out?
