What about a cover crop for composting all summer!

some cover crops grow very fast like radish. How about plantig them thick in areas where there alot of weeds so they kill the weeds and the radish can be pulled all the time for a all summer compost! What cover crops would work best? Radish will even grow around a compost!

If you like the idea of radish, I recommend a daikon radish. The daikon will spike deeper into the soil. I also would not pull and compost, but leave to rot in place. You could cut off the tops and compost. I would also add vetch, clover, rye, buckwheat or something similar for more biomass.
