Ginger Jam, anyone?

Hello 'Edible-Garden' Lovers, :D

One of my favourite jams is "Ginger Jam".. I love it I love it I love it..
mm..mm.mmmm..!

I was wondering...
..has anyone ever made ginger jam?
Was it a success?
Would you like to share the recipe? pleeeeease??

I think one of the recipes includes: lemon juice, sugar and cubed ginger. But how much of everything I wouldn't know and is it all or maybe something more should be added, have no idea. Of course I could get 'adventurous' 8) and try to invent my own recipe....(maybe some day! when I have some more free time lol), but not right now.

Very curious if anyone is a master in it :)

In the Gingerale thread. If you want to carry it through to jam, use the same recipe but use shredded fresh ginger in place of the cubes, and don't separate them from the syrup - just boil until it gets nice and thick.
