Our backyard was until last winter the domain of 26 100 foot pines and about 30 6 to 10 foot pines and it seemed that bees didn't know there were fruit, berry, and veggies needing pollination. I added flowers that bees love and it helped a bit but not good enough.
A parent of one of my players gave me a hive and will mentor me this summer and I just ordered my first order of bees!!!
Problem solved!
