Little black catapillars are devouring my tomatoes

I noticed holes in my tomatoes and found little 1"to 1 1/2" little black catapillars. The leaves are yellowing and then shriveling up. They are hard to see. I have picked off all I can find but they are eating way more tomatoes than I am. What can I do?

Where are you located?

Without pics and more info the best I can do is tell you to pick up some Neem Oil, read the directions, and spray your plants. It will help prevent insects from eating your plants, but will not directly kill them. I use Neem Oil a lot for many pests.
