I have been an artist since I was a kid.

Oh I'm sorry you meant an artist with talent.

I don't think Spotted said anything about talent.

guess it depends what you mean by artist... I think we all can be artistic. I by no means consider myself artistic, but I'm kind of "crafty." I do interior decorating, landscape gardening, knitting, crochet, calligraphy, make soaps and teas, photography, a bit of poetry now and then and whatever else catches my eye,

My sister is one hell of an artist (drawing and painting). She paints murals for a living. She recently designed pins for Hard Rock Cafe.

I make music as a hobby, so I guess I'm an "artist".

Can you send me one of those in iron? I'll use it as a hood ornament.

And tomf, I'm a big fan.

That would be San Juan Channel. This channel is part of the route to Sidney BC. Washington Ferry - Anacortes to Sidney BC.

Here's some of mine. I'm mostly a painter/clothing/costume designer (trained for theatre), but I also do jewelry.

Thanks for sharing your art work, I love looking at artistic things people do and make. We love going to art museums and galleries.

Eric you make me want to get some bending tools.

I like your jewelry Lorax, nice job. My wife also makes jewelry. She gets some fashion magazines and I am always amazed at how much of the clothing makes woman look bad, it is like many of these people designing woman's clothing have not got a clue as to how to design for different body types. I like the 40's drawing, the first one you posted the most although the colorful ribbon dress is cool.

This is a hay wheel I turned into a sun.

Tom, I actually made the 40's suit in pale grey pinstripe wool with a silk lining. And I totally agree - designers today have no clue about anything other than the stick-insect model form. Give them a woman with a generous bosom and a bit of a bottom, and they're completely lost - even though that was the ideal shape for many decades!

*sigh* Coco Chanel is spinning in her grave right now.

Yes music is art. I play a bit my self; photos of part of my studio or play room.
