I live on the north of Mass and my compost is now frozen this week, so crazy winter here.
Last year is was frozen by Dec 15. I have the Earth Machine should I leave in closed now? Or should I put hot water in there?

I have a similar compost bin. Mine is frozen now too. It's ok. Just keep dumping your compostables in on top. They will freeze too, but everything will start composting again as soon as the weather warms up. No reason to bother trying to thaw it out - it will just freeze up again.
