I've got 4 honeyberry plants about 6 inches tall in separate pots. I could risk putting them in the ground this fall and mulching and hoping that they survive the winter (they are considered very hardy) but I am worried. I waited a long time to get them and have babied them for the last few months.
I need some help knowing how and when I could bring them inside. Do they need sun in the winter....? I just need advice. Thanks all.

if you mean 'bring inside' as in, a heated house, i'd go ahead and plant them and mulch them well. they are VERY hardy, and are pretty likely to come back from the roots in the unlikely event of dying back...but these are siberian plants, basically, and in my experience can take a lot of cold without even flinching.
inside, like a garage or so, after going dormant, MAY be another matter, but i think you should have some faith in their tolerances.
