Name this plant!

I bought these seeds labeled as venus fly traps, however they look nothing like them. Does anyone know what they may be?

I do not know what they are, but they are not venus fly traps as the VFT look just like you would think they would almost from the moment they first sprout...

Perhaps you should take your seeds back and find out why they sold you something that wasn't VFT, but labeled it as VFT...

looks kinda like tobacco, or maybe petunias. lots of things with leaves like that, though, especially when young.

I agree, Fred looks like a petunia. I have some baby petunias growing in one of my indoor plants and they look almost identical to your Fred
