Whose garden is this?

The wonders of the internet :D I intentionally left out the house, roads and other identifying information to protect the owner's privacy.

Not DDF. I could actually be wrong about this, but I'm pretty confident that I found this person's garden.

Hint: Why would one want to look for this piece of land?

Yep! Soil got it. Only jal_ut can confirm it. I had to get a better look at those mountains.

They are an awesome sight from above, by the way.

If I was jal-ut, I'd be having me a greenhouse and growin stuff all year with the amount of land he's got! Nice spread.

Neato! My parents own some land on Orcas Island, just north of Rosario, on the east side of the sound. No garden there, yet, because they visit infrequently. Some day!

Yes, That shows about 3 of 6.5 acres. I'm having trouble with Polaris property search. :?

orgoveg,

This is a totally artificial stream, ponds and waterfall. It's also seasonal. When the winter rains stop, so does the system.

Lots of digging and directing of water. I was very happy when it all worked out.

After the waterfall it travels under the road and into our 1/2 acre pond.

OK, now that I look at the image again, it does look like Jal's!

DDF, your property is wonderful! Did you make the stream and waterfall in the off-season when there was no water (you must have)?

Sorry I've taken over the post.

Where is James? I'd like a conformation also. :)

G5,

The water coarse went through a few changes over the years. Originally there was no waterfall and half of my garden area was another pond. I filled in the pond and routed the stream up higher in the orchard. I was able to run the route high enough to go over the rocks. :D

I actual did some of the digging in the rain. Water seeks its own level, so I could dig and watch the flow. Move a little up hill, a little down. Later on I borrowed my brothers transit. :P

Eric

I'll have to dig out some old photos and scan them into my computer.
