I think this cactus is a torch but I didn't know that they get fruit after flowering. Is the fruit edible.

At first I thought those were flowers??? I have never seen a cactus with fruit like that? Hopefully someone that does know, will come on to help you. Good Luck with it. Looks interesting.

I think they're probably edible, but not all fruits produced by cacti are necessarily tasty. However, the fruits can be a good source of seeds to plant and/or offer to your friends.
