What is this green flowering perennial?

Hello,

I purchased this plant three years ago from an online catalog. I thought it died the first year in the ground ... it did horribly. The next year it came back, albeit, not very well. This year it looks really healthy and is robust and flowering.

The problem is ... I seem to have misplaced any information I had about it in the first place and now I have no clue what it is. I have gone through the catalogs I have, and also online, but can't find anything like this. The leaves seem to be similar to hellebores, but I can't find one with a flower like this.

The inside of the flower look like little bulbs, like seed pods.

Can anyone ID this plant?

I have no clue and if you don't find out you may be able to backtrack it at perennial.com

Yup, Hellebore. They get seed pods like that.

Thanks Chris.

I thought it probably was some variety of it ... but of course the flowers shown in the catalogs are nothing like this. I wish I could remember which catalog company I got it from.

Nice to put closure to this mystery.
