Huge Cotyledons on Squash Seedlings

After all these years and thousands of starts, it still amazes me how large the embryonic first leaves of squash get. :shock:

Wow! :shock: glad to know I'm not the only one with huge squash seed leaves! They look fantastic.

which ones you got there, squash is good stuff. I love how it can store for months on end and still be tasty as hell.

Inpressuve pictures of those plants Eric!

Two Questions? What is a sweat chamber? And I thought that you didn't have to sow squash seeds indoors but you could do it when your garden soil is warmer? (Unless of course you are a commerical grower, which I am beginning to wonder because you sure have a lot of squash plants going :lol: )

Wow! that's awesome. I've seen those starter veggies at our local farmers market (last year). It's still early here for the farmers market to open up (Boulder, Co) but soon they will be open for the season.

Our market has veggies like what you grow and other things too. Like special cheeses and breads etc and stuff like that. For me, it's like going to the state fair. I enjoy them a lot................ :lol:

The Farmers Market is like a big social event, lots of BS and some money made. :D

How has the weather been there lately? Seems like Colorado has gotten on the fast track in regards to rain here and tons of snow up in the mountains.

Do you all get a good turn out for your markets. I know ours can get rather crowd on some weekends, but I suppose that's what makes the vendors real happy!!

GB,

Today is our fifth Saturday outdoors for this year. The crowds and vendors have been a little thin.

It's raining again today and we been having record breaking rain for the last couple months. Our summer will be starting soon, maybe August. :lol:

Yea tell me about the rain, we are getting the rain storms from your area :lol: So far the garden is holding up.......fingers crossed.
