My Tulips are coming up out of the ground, but only the leaves in about 60% of them. What do I need to do? There are no buds, should I get ane expert out here to look at them, or is there something I can do to prevent this from happening again next year.

How old are they? Have you ever fertilized or split them? Could just be they got old or lacked enough nutrition to form flowers. One of the reasons I'm not such a big bulb guy is they need replacing fairly frequently. They are not perennials, they're bulbs and they aren't as long lived. May be time for new ones...
