Cost was reasonable at under $350. Used 4 x 6 supports. Structure is approximately 10' by 20'. If building on the ground would have used 10 foot 4 x 6's so that a couple feet could go into the ground. With it just sitting on the concrete, it took a bit of extra bracing to take most of the shake out. Our old five foot porch swing will go on the left. The structure will help filter some of the intense afternoon light/heat during mid to late summer. I also have shade cloth to stretch over the top if needed.
