White spots on tomato leaves

I've noticed small white spots on my tomato leaves (as well as more leaf miners). Any ideas on what's causing this?

Pictures would help. If they are irregular shapes that seem to go through or mostly through the leaf making a thinner almost translucent spot, that can be sun scorch. It tends to happen when water stays on the leaf and then direct sun hits it, making a magnifying glass effect.

But these are indoor tomatoes, aren't they? No direct sun, no sun scorch.

If they are circular greyish white spots with dark edges, probably septoria.

Otherwise, I'd need to see pictures.

They've been outdoors the whole time. They're around 8-10 inches tall now. I gave the batch that I kept inside to my sister.....and they had the tiny white spots as well.

I'll find out how to use my camera and post pics. I need to find the USB cord it came with.
