I need to get back into the swing of things here!!

I need to plan my garden. I need to get back into gardening mode. yes its january LOL! I only got one seed catalog thus far and there is nothing I want. I wanted all these cool varieties that you all have suggested last summer and yeah, they didn't have any. so I'm not ordering from them!

what is the good place to order from agian? I'd rather not order from Park seed again I had problems with them last year.

I ordered from Burpee this year. I have never ordered before and they had alot of seeds that I could not find uptown last year. Don't know how the order us yet as it is not hear yet but I did get end email the very next day saying that it had shipped.

Seemed they had a good selection and shipped right away. So far so good.

No, Park is boring, though they occasionally catch my eye. I noticed they have organic seed starting mix and have marked that page as I haven't seen it elsewhere and the brand was mentioned on the forum recently, AND it's not distributed up around here -- more southern and Midwestern states.

Look in the Seed Catalogs Trickling In thread for sources. 8)

Sheeshshe, if I was is Maine . . . oh boy :) ! I would need to decide if I was closest to:

1. Clinton, ME
2. Winslow, ME, or
3. New Gloucester, ME

Then I would go off to visit:

1. Fedco
2. Johnny's
3. Pinetree

And, I would be happy to order from all 3 :)!! (And, probably will, even tho' I don't live in Maine!)

Don't shy away from Pinetree, Sheeshshe.

If you have a small garden, Pinetree can give you lots of variety at a low price. Their packets are small but they have a wide selection. They even have a good selection of books, kitchen stuff, soap-making supplies, etc. Still, the good prices, too.

They also have their Asian gardens, Italian gardens, etc. which is fun.

You will find them on the internet at: https://www.superseeds.com/

So, I dig up these the afore-posted threads to help another member find seed sources and I wind up ordering several more catalogs myself  . All this when I'm not even through the ones I already have . Well, one never can have too many seed catalogs, I suppose.
