Bugs that Attack Tomatoes - What are they?

Hi all, I am very new to this gardening larc and only have a couple of Tomato plants and some parsley. My parsley was in full bloom and then one day went out to check on it and all the parsley had disappeared and in it's place were some very fat caterpillers! I have more growing now and I have moved them into my outhouse but does any one know what bugs go for tomato plants and how to stop them? I have just started to get actual tomato's, feeling rather pleased with them and don't want any bugs getting fat on them!

Hope someone can help!

Cheers

Try looking at the beneficial insects thread in the organic forum.

Was it green and have a horn? If so that would be a Tomato Hornworm.
