Tomato Plants Dying out Already

This is my first visit to this forum. I know I'll find a lot of good information here. We've been growing tomato plants for years (live in the Midwest), and they're dying out already this year. The leaves don't usually start getting brown until early September (which I still think is too soon because there's always lots of tomatoes left on the vines), but this year they've already started dying out and we haven't even had our first ripe tomato yet. Anyone have any ideas why this happens or what we can do to prevent it?

Thanks!

Hi Acmatters,

I'm thinking it's the heat. I'm having some problems with mine this year too as I grew them in pots. Several have different viruses and some blight.
