Graden Protectors

So who has someone or something that looks out for your garden as you sleep? We do and heres a pic of her/him ( not sure which) on her perch. A great mouse eater and anything else that suits it's needs. the great horned owl lives in our tree and I get so excited every morning when I look for her and there she is. Ok being sexist she a she to me LOL.

Wow, how cool is that??!!

I got nothing.

I'm guessing the toads and snakes help control my bug population. I am wanting some kind of sensor activated water devise that turns the sprinkler on when the squirrels show up. I know I've heard of something to keep the deer away on "Ask This Old House".

How beautiful. What a treasure!

I have some really big frogs and robins to take care of the bugs and worms.

They don't help with the neighbors dog though!

My best garden protectors are wasps. They seem to hover around my shoulders as I go into my plants and lift up the leaves to reveal any worms. If I do find any worms, I'm sure to feed it to them as it'll keep them around.

Those are some great pics, but I still don't like wasps.

WOW thats so cool, can't believe ya got pics like that. I too am on the don't like them bench. But I don't kill the, just run from them LOL.
