Very nice; the red gate is beautiful. Maybe it is just the camera angles or something, but to me it seems a little bit to lack the austere serenity I associate with Japanese gardens.

Have you read the Japanese garden design article at the beginning of this site?

Cape Breton is Nova Scotia, right? Does your gunnera survive the winter outdoors? I would imagine if established, it will be too huge to dig up and bring in.

I have to cover the Gunnera with 3ft of straw and a large tarp....it winters well.

The Cabot Trail pictures are spectacular, but even your own property looks like the kind of place I spend a lot of money to go vacation at! Start a B&B and I will come!

I took the liberty of hiding the URL for the Cabot pics, since huge URLs like that don't fit in our formatting real well.

There are B&B's just down the road from me overlooking the stunning Bras d'Or Lakes..the Ocean is minutes away...they are also located all over the Island......most start at $79.00.....

Camera angles can fool the eye.

I'm sure the local B&B's have just been guaranteed improved occupancy rates !!!
