Help for Sick Hostas - Look Diseased

Hi all, I'm a new homeowner with very little gardening experience. I have hostas in our front and backyard landscaping, and this year they looked diseased. I've included some pictures below.

If you have any idea what the problem might be, I would really appreciate the help! Thanks in advance.

It would help if you would tell us what part of the world you are in, what your climate is like, and what conditions the hostas are in - e.g. full sun, part sun, shade, how much moisture etc. Have you treated them with anything? (Fertilizers, pesticides, etc).
