Hello. I have noticed this lichen type on several of our Apple trees. Does any one know what it is and how you get ride of it? Thank you!

lichen is more a sign of a particular environment (good air quality, poor air circulation, high humidity) than any kind of danger to your tree. why do you want to get rid of it?

Lichen does no harm at all...in fact it gives protection for predators like ladybugs .
