Last fall I planted an Anna Apple tree only because that is all they sell in Arizona. Nothing else will make apples here. Not knowing anything about this apple I bought a semi dwarf tree anyway.
The tiny 4 feet tall tree made 49 apples. They started getting ripe 3 weeks ago. I just ate the last apple a few minutes ago. These are actually pretty good yellow apples. I still don't know anything about these apples, wonder if they make good in pies or cobbler.
Is anyone growing Anna Apples?
