How to Know if Gala Apple Tree Will Blossom or is Sterile?

I planted 2 apple trees last year - one gala and one golden delicious. The gala has leaves forming, but it didn't get any blossoms. I hope that is just because of the snow and cold weather we had a couple weeks ago. The golden delicious looks like it is forming buds, but I haven't seen anything, yet. Will my gala tree get blossoms next year or is it sterile?

Gala tends to be an early flowerer, and if late frost is a thing in your area it might not be the best choice...
