Help please

I just moved to another state and was so pleased to find what looks like a grapevine in my yard next to the metal fence!! Bonus, huh? I don’t have much of a green thumb but this vine is growing so quickly it’s giving me HOPE. I would love to grow something and be successful and to have food in my small yard would be a dream!! Lol. I live near a place called southern state and I heard they will test soil sample for you. I know this vine needs to be pruned? I would love it if I could get some detailed advice. I’m in Kentucky and it’s a little cool outside 58 degrees but the days have been warmer around 80 to 85 degrees the last month and half. It has a big strong trunk. Thank you!!!
