Newbie - Minnesota Grapevine

Hi. Just joined the group as I am clueless about grapevines and care

I bought a house last year that has a nice grapevine in the backyard.

Last year it produced grapes but one day they were there the next day the birds ate them all up in a single day.

They are developing again this year but not sure how to or when I should start to protect them from the birds or insects for that matter.

Looking for some experienced guidance.

Hi.
If it’s birds that are enjoying your efforts then netting is about the only answer.
You can try rigging up small netting pouches around each bunch that might act as a deterrent.
It’s a fact of life for fruit growers that we are not the only ones who like the end results!
