Why Concord Grape Harvest Yield is Low

Can anyone tell me why I'm not getting a bigger crop off my grapes?
I prune them in the late winter (mar.). I do seem to have alot of leaves and not much fruit.
Thanks, Sue

The key with grapes seems to be to have the poorest soil and growing conditions (lots of wet weather) as possible and also to prune them back to the third bud every year. Sometimes, it take a few years before the plants get going as well.

My plants are at least 10 years old. I have a wire 4.5 ft tall that I tie the vines to. There are branches that come off the main vine below the 4.5 ft. Should I cut these all the way back so there is only one vine at the top cut to the 3rd bud? Do I need to water heavy through the growing season?
Thanks for your help!

I wouldn't water heavily. Just water as the plants need water.

Yes, you should trim all the vines back to the 3rd bud each winter. They will come back.
