Pressure treated wood for raised vegetable garden?

Is it safe to use pressure treated wood for a raised vegie garden?

It isn't ideal, no. But it can be done (I had that at my old home in FL). I haven't died, the plants did fine - if you do use them, I'd line the inside walls of the bed with something to protect the soil from the chemicals.

Ideal would be brick or rock or stone.

Could I used some left over plastic to line it with? Just around the wood?

Just be careful what plastic you use. PVC plastics have platicizers added to them that leak out of the plastic and contaminate local soils and water systems.

I'm using pressure treated wood from my sisters bunkbed and my plants are growing just fine

It isn't about whether the plants will grow well, it's about your safety. Treated wood is treated with arsenic , which will leak into the soil. Use regular wood; it will still last a couple of years, and the extra effort to replace it when it does eventually rot is worth not contaminating your soil and your body.
