Looking good!

I have free range chickens, and that just reminds me, I really need to get set up to harvest some eggs!

I use them for bug patrol!

But over the weekend, I was blessed with 10 brand new baby chicks, so although I am not getting eggs at the moment, I am still gaining!

I tried free range for a period each day. Too much mischief for me. The chicken ate everything in sight. The dogs ate everything the chickens dropped. One dog seems to be suffering from gout, probably from all of the uric acid. So now the chickens are back to their pen 24/7. The space is about 1/4 acre or more, so still plenty of freedom, with additional expansion planned.
