Hello! I have noticed that some of my peppers have spots like this. What is causing it? I cut off the damaged part and the inside looks fine.

If all my peppers end up like this, and I let them grow to full size, is it safe to cut off the bad parts and eat the rest of the pepper?

The one you’re holding looks to me like it got sun scorched. The cut up one looks fine to eat.

The other yellowed and dark sunken hole could be anthracnose? — It’s probably still oK to eat unaffected parts but the problem itself could be serious for the peppers….
