Revive dormant peppers?
I have pepper plants potted, pruned & overwintered indoors, in the near dark & virtually dry. Are they dormant or dead - I don't know; but the stems are still green. When & how should I try to revive them? Our usual planting-out date is about May 24.

Try bringing them out into a brighter area — doesn’t have to be reading bright yet, and water them a little more — a little at first — and look for signs of growth.
Once they start forming leaf buds, they should get sufficient light that they don’t grow lanky/spindly.
They can go outside as long as temperatures are above mid-50’s°F or so, but keep in wind-sheltered area and no direct sun at first.
