Jalapeño Leaves Turning Yellow Brown

A few days ago the leave on my jalapeño plant started to turn yellowish brown I was wonder what caused this and how to fix it

Describe a little more about your plant — how long you have been growing it, is there regular potting mix under what looks like mulch and what kind, when was the last time you fertilized, have you been treating it/spraying it with anything, what about your lawn, etc.

Also, general location and what the weather has been like.
