Before I waste my time planting these...

These look like regular Bell peppers, does (Burpee), sorry Ferry Morse use general images for their seed packs.

The picture certainly looks like regular bell peppers like the California Wonder variety I grow in the spring/summer. Pablano peppers are longer, narrower and a bit greener if going by the ones I always see in the marketplace near me.

I'm not sure if they use a generic picture, but I can't understand why they'd do that since many people look at the picture first when shopping for their seeds------well, at least I do, then I go from there.

Yeah I'm a bit worried, may shop around for more seed.
Sorry about the typo, it's Ferry Morse not Burpee.

You mean Ferry-Morse, right? It looks like they do have the correct photo on their website....

Now that's a poblano pepper. Not what is shown in the OP's post with pic.

Yeah, I know what poblanos look like and I am sure the image is wrong, but are the seeds? That's my dilemma.
I'm gonna have to find other seeds or plants but may plant a couple to determine if they are really poblanos or not.
these are poblanos from my 2015 Aquaponics garden, next to a Bell.

How come I can't post an image from Flickr on my phone?

The way I do it (from the website not the app) is to tap on the download icon, then pick a size, then copy the link and paste here using the img codes (use the full editor not the quick reply)

Had to fix on my computer. Even when I go to the desktop version on my phone it still opens the image in the phone app.
I guess I need to uninstall the Flickr App from my phone.

Anywho, if anyone has any Poblano seeds they are willing to share PM me please.

Thanks

I have bought seeds with a generic picture and the seeds were the ones that were written on the label. Unfortunately the only way to tell is to plant some of them out. If you don't want to take the chance, just return them where you bought them.
