Is this blossom drop?

I assumed blossom drop was just the blossom, but my jalapeno has two peppers growing, and started a few other small fruit buds like this one, but now they dropped off. I initially thought something (cutworm) ate it off, but there's 3-6 stems like this, all fallen.

I'm in North Florida, and it's heating up, so I imagine this could be related to that, but I always assumed blossom drop was just the blossoms. This is a whole small fruit, and the whole stem at that.
