Pepper Search

First post. I am looking for a small yellow medium pepper about the size of the last joint of a man's little finger with a slight point on the end. I worked outdoors for all of my working life and we always kept a small jar, from the grocery store, in the truck glovebox for a warmup at lunch. I can't find these in the stores (KS), and I can't find seeds online. I garden tomatoes in milk crates on tables and benches, due to my age and health, so planting them would fit my garden. Any help with a name or where to get seeds would be appreciated.

Is it hot or sweet? If hot, how hot? (Is that what you meant by "medium"?
Does it have thin wall or thick wall?

...I'm thinking if this was store bought pickled peppers in a jar, then the "yellow" might have been from food coloring or turmeric in the brine. But if they were clear yellow in color, then the peppers themselves were likely to be "white" (Ivory or pale green) when immature type... meaning they might ripen to orange-red rather than yellow.
